Looking a very good wall mount (sturdy is important) for 82-86 inch TV ..... do not want to put an expensive TV on a unreliable mount !!! Probably nothing will happen, but can not take the risk .....

Any link/help will be appreciated !!!

I have one of their cheaper full motion on a 85" TV and it works great. I would rather have this one because it slides left right, which would allow me to center on my wall better. However, I am not remounting at this point.

Only a good deal if your TV is 85 and over and weighs a ton. For 75 and under there are much better deals at the $25~$30 range.

Is this a better option for those with Costco memberships? Starburst Technologies Advanced Extension Tilt 43-90" TV Mount | Costco https://www.costco.com/.product.1425454.html

Can I use this directly on a drywall? Just bought a 65inch Sony tv and want to mount it. I have never mounted a tv before and I'm lost I can mount any of these or do I need to use the one which specifically says on dry wall only? Thanks!

No, it's an extremely bad idea to mount a TV into just drywall. You need to make sure there are studs where you mount it. If you are in any relatively modern construction you should have studs spaced not too far apart and a lot of these mounts are adjustable to where wherever you mount it you can still shift the TV left and right even if the mount itself isn't perfectly centered. Get a studfinder and watch some youtube videos on how to do it.

You bolt it to the studs, through the drywall.

You don't sound very confident.

I'd consider hiring someone or finding a friend/family member that has done it before.

It's not hard at all, but if you do it wrong the consequences could be severe.

Depends on the weight. Drywall is actually quite tough AS LONG AS YOU USE TOGGLE BOLTS. DO NOT JUST USE SCREWS OR SCREW CONDOMS (forgot the name).

I always put my toggle bolts through the stud but you should be more than ok with 4 toggle bolts through just drywall. As long as the tv is under 50 lbs.
