I use it to control my nano leaf some hue light and other lights in my HomeKit setup. It looks like a set of normal switches in HomeKit. It’s super buggy tho not a fan, but at this price it may be fun to try.

Yikes! That's pricey!

Wouldn't a conventional Philips Hue dimmer switch be cheaper and more effective?

Great price! I have three of them but man are they a bit annoying. Have trouble keeping them connected to and controlling the controller their paired to and the battery life doesnt seem to be that long. And the way the battery slots are designed (at least for the ones I have) theyre too narrow to use Eneloops and the Eneloops can get really stuck in there if you force them down.

Good to know.

I'm using a Hue bridge on Android, not Homekit. Can I still use this to control my Philips hue bulbs and light strips?

From a customer review:

"Speaking of batteries: The Nanoleaf Smart Remote eats them like they're breath mints. The second Nanoleaf Remote has gone through three battery changes in 6 months. Two AA batteries at a time, each change lasting approximately 2 months. This thing will eat batteries until you've paid more to keep it powered than it cost you by itself."
