I've had 3 of these for at least 3 years now. Never had any issue with them.
I always love when the ad for these types of lights state how the led will last over 20 years. It's so misleading. It's the controller chip on the bulb that gets hot and 99% of the time will die before the led. Doesn't matter if the led is good for 20 years if the light will no longer turn on.

I dream of a day when we will have some sense of honesty with marketing.
I have both the Hue and LIFX in my home and prefer the LIFX over the HUE. Slowly converting all my lights over to LIFX, buy them in times like these because they're obviously expensive for a lightbulb (considering) and especially if you need multiple ones for different can lights in rooms.

I have owned both for a few years and both have worked very well but the brightness of the LIFX and accuracy/amount of colors FAR exceeds HUE.

What's the difference between the one posted in this thread and this one? Regarding the A19 -
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...d60f18032a

I know it says 75w for the one I posted and the one the OP posted says 11 watts in description but in a reply from LIFX that "1100 lumens is 75 watt equivalent"

Still waiting for a warranty replacement that I requested 6 months ago. Pathetic Customer service.

You can get 4 BR30 "Feit electric" Smart bulbs for the price of 1 LIFX bulb in Costco when they are on sale. They are ok. At least you will not be hugely disappointed

They are different form factors. A19 is more of a standard light bulb size/shape, whereas BR30 is more of a floodlight/can light size.

Anyone use these outdoors as flood lights? 1100 lumens is better than Hue's 650 for BR30. Would like to add some accent colors to my outdoor lighting but still want to be able to see getting into/out the garage. (Assuming my WiFi can reach there)

Also wanting to use this as a floodlight hitting my pool but concerned about storms and the winter

Flashlight can go up to 8,000-10,000 lumens. Surprised actual bulbs are still in the dark at 1,000-2,000 lumens.

You read my post wrong but I may have worded it confusingly? The link I provided, did you click it? I'll reword it again below.
