I tested then all including this Viva. Only one model stands out: Duo Evo Plus was created in response to thousands of user requests. Not to be mistaken for "Duo Plus".

Easily worth $50 more to me. Got a spare "used" one that is brand new on Amazon Prime Day for $54. They still have one today for $72. Buy it at that price and don't look back. EVO is $150 at W-S. and when they are gone only the Pro will be available. Indigo Nili does a good youtube review.

- superior inner pot: range-ready induction compatible heavy duty inner pot with integral handles +10 None of the other models have flat bottoms or handles.

- advanced lid and temperature control releases zero steam while cooking. Insulated top to prevent burns. Clip-on lid ice pack for fast natural steam release. Lid holder built in to base. Separate steam release slide switch. Two seals included.

- 1200 watts of power for fast pressure build. Can pre-heat a pot of soup or chili on induction hot plate or stove then transfer to I.P. for nearly instant pressure to finish cooking.

- fine temperature control

- large screen with easy to use and set controls, better timers and has steam only function

-easy to clean top groove

- modern design looks great on the counter

The new PRO adds a dry bake function but has an annoying tone generator and smaller LCD.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely look into that model.
