Is there really no cheaper one that works well? Like a $15-30 price point

I wouldn't recommend it unless you're just adding a small volume. At 0.2L, you're going to be emptying and filling that 20-30 times for a single transmission fluid fill.

I suggest either finding a larger one or a pump with an inlet and outlet. That way you can just stick the inlet into the container of trans fluid and the outlet into the fill plug and keep pumping until you've emptied every container.

I use these [harborfreight.com] from HF for $6.99 before on sale.... even an empty milk jug will work.

Same here. And they often go on sale for around $3 to $4.

I personally prefer these for transmissions, the transfer pumps do work well too however.

A jug you can screw a pump onto is sufficient, whatever size, then add a piece of flexible tubing. Wire tie the tubing to prevent any leak back. Whole thing is less than $20

Bucket with lid, tubing on one side of the lid, hole for shop vac on the other. Just place your tube in the whatever you are wanting to drain then use the shopvac to pull a vacuum on the bucket. There are more elaborate designs involving valves to limit how much vacuum you can pull, but its easy enough to do manually if the bucket starts to cave in. The smaller 3? gallon ones from HD work well. Like THIS [youtube.com]. Dont burn up your shop vac by starving it for air though.

This [youtube.com] looks cool too.

You don't need this. I use a pump that screws right onto the oil bottle. It transfers super fast.
Don't use anything where you have to pour the oil into another container. That just gives you another chance to make a mess, takes longer, and wastes more oil

When they are that cheap, they are almost throwaway.

For heavier gear lube, that one works well.... While most everything has a drain plug for removal, these work well in tight places for putting new lubricants back in.

For differentials that don't have a drain, I am still popping the cover off to drain, to make sure all old is out and check the gears.

No, it's too small. Also, you want one that's rated for gasoline so you don't accidentally start dissolving hoses in your tank, which will be an even more expensive repair

Neat idea. Having no experience with this item, I wonder if any real sludgy stuff that sits in the bottom of the case, near the drain hole, may be less likely to be extracted. With a drain plug, sludge comes out first, in some cases.
