"-Sound
So they don't fit well and ANC is balls. Could the sound save it perhaps? Will you weep in joy at the Apple engineering that made such beautiful vocals and trembling bass possible? No. I would call it average. SLIGHTLY better than the Airpod Pros. My V-Moda M-100's, almost a decade old, sh!t on these, spit in their face, curb stomp them, pick them up, then sh!t on them once more, all at half the price (and they straight KILL them once I connect them to my FiiO BTR5) all at half the price or so. Sound is okay, bass is lacking for me, volume is shockingly low. Just an overall disappointment."

Overall good buy if it is $400 or less and fix the cushion so that it doesn't hurt user's head for long period of time.

The bass on the AirPods max is the best part of its sound. It's quite dynamic and has a lot of lower presence, you can also change the tuning.
My main headphone rig is a pair of great $1400 planar dynamics. That pair is a bit more layered with better soundstage and imaging (they're open, of course), but the AirPods max are a nice tuning for most people and it can be adjusted based on preference.
Additionally, they have absolutely insane transparency and ANC modes combined with what I think is nice styling that doesn't look ridiculous in public unlike other headphones.
I work from home and the ANC combined with decent sound quality has me using them more often than my higher end pair that I love.
As for what I don't like.. I like a more flat tuning with a possible slight boost to the bass. They're not too bad, though. They get sweaty on my head and have just a slight amount more pressure than I'd prefer.

I doubt these will beat the SQ of Audeze mobius LDAC.
Was this a pun? Haha
