You're full of shit. They cost about a million each. Sure there's design but it's been around for decades (although upgraded)
Whoa slow your roll there big guy. Do you work in the appropriations committee for the Air Force? My point is, this motherboard benefits from the billions that have been spent over time to design super-stable Tomahawk VRMs that are part of the nav and guidance system on those units. I'm not saying each unit costs billions.

Speaking of Tomahawk technology, DARPA must have dropped new BIOS yesterday:

Bought from Walmart 3 days ago for the same price, with cash back. Had MSI in the past and they are hit or miss, not he most robust at all. But, for my 5900x photo PC, this will work. If I had to replace my board in critical PCs such as my surveillance PC, I would not go MSI.
Understood, so dont use it in a surveillance PC, what about a music PC, or a gaming PC, or an email PC, or a spreadsheet PC, or an internet surfing PC, or a looking at porn PC. Would you recommend this board for any of these specialty built PCs. laugh out loud

haha well I guess you are naive. You think the US military is going to make the latest bios available to the average consumer, which could include rogue operators who bought this hardware at WalMart like some of the suspects above? They will keep the performance bios for proprietary use in the Tomahawk shadow program. You are seeing the dumbed-down version my friend. If you want to use your VRMs to vaporize an enemy operative with a single keystroke then you will need the proprietary BIOS but good luck finding them

As long as I have derivative BIOS that's been raining death from the sky at some point, I'm good.

I'm glad I was pointed to this board the last time it was available. Ran my 3700x without issue, and it's now running my 5900x without issue.

Excellent performance for the price bracket. Makes the $350+ x570 boards almost unnecessary.

debating if I should jump on this or wait for the x570s refresh
cant go wrong either way

id be surprised if x570s brings anything useful to the table other than the passive heatsink.
