Walmart has 3 months of gamepass ultimate in sale for $29.99. Not sure how long it'll be up.

Pretty sure yes. Load up your account with 3 years of gold, then do the $1 GPU trial and get it converted to 3 years GPU.

I think BF price on this is cheaper ($22-24) but it only hits that price point during BF. $30 is best normal sale price, $22-24 is once-a-year pricing. Unless you’re willing to spend loads more time adding 1 week at a time.

I plan to load up another year during BF.

Anyone know if the 3 years of Xbox Gold converted to 3 years of GamePass Ultimate for $1 trick still works? Trying to figure out if that's still an option so I can do it once and forget about it for 3 years, or if I have to peacemeal deals like this together over time.
I just did this today, so yes it works

I accidentally did the conversion without knowing anything about it beforehand. Got a year of Gold then added a week code from eneba for GPU just because I wanted to play a game on it and it converted it for a year. I was so confused lol.

But is it possible to add another year to my account doing the same method? What happens if I purchase another year of Xbox Live Gold with my account already GPU for a year?

I just did it a few days ago for the 3rd time. I've had Gamepass since 2017. My GPU is now expiring 06/2024. I paid retail for the cards so it was $59x3+$14.99=$194.96 for 3 years($5.42 a month). You can get a better deal on gold cards to make it cheaper.

The $1 deal will not work for you if you have done it. Instead, when you click on the link to upgrade Gold to Gamepass it will say $14.99 a month to upgrade. This is normal. It will bill you $14.99 once and whatever gold time you have will be converted to GPU 1:1. Before you click confirm to upgrade it will even show you your next billing date if you upgrade.

It's basically the same process as the $1 upgrade but, you are paying $14.99 one time instead of the $1 upgrade charge. Make sure to turn off reoccurring billing after if you don't want it to auto renew when it expires.

This just worked for me and I wanted to comment on it since you are exactly right. My ult gamepass just ran out which also meant my xbox gold ran out two days ago. I just loaded up 3 years of xbox gold, then clicked on 1 month of gamepass from the xbox store on my console. It then told me I would have it up to 36 months which they gave me a date of 8/7/24. Thanks friend!

I assume no, but my gpu is expiring soon if I let it expire can I do the conversion again? Anyone know if there are any negatives to letting it expire? Will it reset my Xbox Live years badge? I don't really have a need for ultimate until the new games come out around November
