Razer are showing no shame in going after the Logitech G502 market. Other than the DPI buttons on the left button and the Infinite Scroll Wheel, the Basilisk Ultimate has the better features and software functionality. The V2 is basically the wired version of the Ultimate but without the RGB. And the X HyperSpeed is a budget wireless version that has Bluetooth connectivity as well. They're great mice but they're not the kind that I recommend. Comfortable, decent shape, but could definitely be better and also lighter. The Razer Vipers and DeathAdder V2 are better for aim, in my opinion. This is just a comparison review but if you want the other details, you can check the main Basilisk review here: https://youtu.be/4y4Wtx7-vfk

Razer Viper Ultimate is 74g and Razer Viper standard is 71g and the Razer Viper Mini is 60g. Everyone of those are way better mice across the board. If you need a BIGGER mouse then the Razer DeathAdder V2 is 80g and XL with the same 6.2 grip size as this mouse. The Glorious Model D is 69g and a 5.9 for grip size. Even the Zowie FK1+-B is 6g lighter than this mouse. I would look at any of these mice over this one.

I've had the Basilisk v2 for over a year now and no double-click or scroll wheel issues here but maybe that only applies to the wireless model?
As for the Razer hate. Back when they were new I was all Logitech and parroted the 'Razer makes garbage' sentiment. But Logitech's awful software (and ugly hardware), Corsair's ugly hardware, and Roccat's/Steel Series'/Other's brands of awful software and ugly hardware forced my hand to try Razer's stuff and the 4 or 5 products I've had have been quite good. The issue I have with Razer at the moment is that they obsolete their "old" hardware by refusing to support it in newer versions of Synapse (So my 3-4 year old Blackwidow TE is only supported by Synapse 2 while my other Razer peripherals require Synapse 3) requiring me to have two different versions of the same software running on my PC. That has me rethinking other brands but I want one application to control all of my hardware: I may try Glorious but their mice shapes aren't my favorite.

Ja, agreed, absolutely. The G502 was my go to mouse but I recently picked up a wireless Razer basilisk and it feels nearly identical, but better somehow. Razer might have copied it, but they certainly did it better imo.
