Samsung EDU/Government/EPP Discount: QN90A Series - 85" Neo QLED 4K Smart TV - $3059.99 at Samsung

For Samsung EDU/Government/EPP members, they currently have their flagship 4K TV for 2021 QN90A 85" Neo QLED 4K Smart TV on sale for $3,059.99 ($340 less than the hot deal posted just a couple of weeks ago).

Their current sale price to the general public is $3,599.99. The additional EPP discount of 15% brings the total cost down to $3,059.99. Shipping is free.

As it is $340 lower than the deal posted here a couple of weeks ago YMMV on a price adjustment via chat as many may still be awaiting delivery of the purchase from June.

YMMV also on cashback through preferred sites (carefully review rates or exclusions on TV purchases).

To see the discount on samsung's site you may have to first set up the EPP discount by linking/logging in with ID.me. Samsung offers discount programs for students and educators (EDU), first responders ("medical professionals," paramedics, police, firefighters), government workers (all levels, county to state to federal), and military (including veterans). However I cannot verify all discount classes receive the same pricing. Last time military discount holders reported they could not achieve the same discount.

The best TV money can buy! Better than 8K and all the OLDEs. Yes I saw OLDEs at the store. And I own this same 85" TV. At least on my unit I have 0 DSE or uniformity issue. And the viewing angle is excellent. Mine is in a very bright room with lots of windows. Excellent reflection handling. Very bright.

And I can't see any blooming! I also own a 12.9" 2021 iPad Pro with mini LED display and my $1200 12.9" iPad pro has more blooming than my 85" Q90A. By less blooming on Q90A I mean 0 blooming. My iPad has quite a bit of blooming. But I guess that is Apple. You are forbidden to even say Apple iPads have blooming. Your eyes must be deceiving you!

Edit: As I am piling on all the controversial comment, let me add some more! I could care less about DV. Yes I am one of those people who posted several times on Samsung forum where everyone keeps complaining about lack of DVs. And yes I am heart broken that in 2021 Samsung still won't support DV. But I simply couldn't tell what more to expect from DV. The picture is just so beautiful.

+1 for great troll post. I love the OLDE's misspell on purpose. Classic.

All four Samsung TVs I have owned over the years have died in under two years, just bought a home and it had top-of-the-line brand new Samsung appliances. Four out of five are having trouble in under two years. Needless to say I am done with Samsung. I know others will comment that they've had their TV for 28 years and it's running perfectly, I really don't care. Go on other forums and see everyone complaining about Samsung, they have serious quality control issues.

The last Samsung I owned, I had trouble within one week of owning it. I called them to set up a repair and they said they don't repair TVs in my area. I am in a town with 300,000 people in Northwest Florida. I was floored

I've had my Samsung TV for about 3.5 years now, and just about a month ago some discoloration appeared at the bottom right. That said, I do love the TV. It's definitely the best brand I've ever owned and it's not even close. I'll probably replace this tv with a QN90A soon and hope it has a long life. The only other brand I'd consider is LG, as I've heard great things about them too.

Read the comments from the other thread, people are disappointed comparing it to their older gen Samsungs.

Not sure what source you are using but look at Rtings - "The best LED TV we've tested is the Samsung QN90A QLED" - and AVS forums and you'll find a different story.

If you add the sound bar HW-Q950A to the order you get it for $812.49 which is almost $900 off original price.

Wow amazing price. I paid $3500 for my Q90T 85". Honestly like the side profile and feel better on mine. This one looks like the regular 8000 series. Obvi the technology is better but still I like the square but sleek depth. At least make it feel like it's $3000 lol.

Samsung saved the cool frameless design for the QN900A but who wants to spend $4,700 more for 8k with virtually no 8k material available to watch.

You seem pretty passionate about blooming, and I respect that.
