In what situation/scenario these low low end speakers are being used?

I use my better powered speakers to play low beats music while working, take zoom calls and listen to you tube music at loud volumes after work. For zoom calls, I often have to crank up so I can hear my offshore team clearly or anyone using crappy mics.

I can't picture using anything BUT better powered speakers for my needs.

I would prefer to pair my Bluetooth earbuds with my PC than buying these speakers

What you're doing is commonly known as "using your imagination." If you bought them, then great. if you like them, then great. None of that has anything to do with what I said. In fact, I would expect people to buy them because that's the whole point of people shilling an item. They do it so people like you will buy. That's why they don't mind giving people Amazon credit to post Chinese junk. They know they'll make profits on it. Enjoy your speakers.

They just arrived today and I tested them out on my PC. Wasn't expecting much, but they have pretty darn good sound and the volume goes up pretty loud. Very happy I bought them for $8.50 and they will be great for use with one of our tablets. Also thinking of hooking them up to a cheap echo dot on our covered patio, since they're so cheap I'm not worried about exposing them to heat and humidity. You should have got a pair sweetheart XD

About a year ago, I bought some cheapo speakers that have color effects for around $10. I figured if I didn't like them, I could give them to my nieces and nephews. Of course they were very flat sounding and they just ended up in my junk pile of misfit electronics. A lot of times you get what you pay for. Smilie

If you're going to buy inexpensive speakers, my suggestion would be to buy some Creative Pebble [amazon.com] speakers. They're legitimately good sounding name brand speakers for $20.

Just received today and tested out. They're much better than I expected. The main reason I bought it is because it's usb powered, which is nice for computers. I had a couple of Bluetooth speakers but I had to connect them to charger all the time, and later developed battery problems. My old PC speakers have static noise after being connected to power outlet for too long. I was considering to order another pair but the code expired.

Though a lot of blame is being sent to Amazon, I hadn't noticed anyone commenting about NPET flooding Slickdeals as of late. Clearly lots of very marginal brands are trying to fill in the space created by three departure of Aukey, RAVpower, etc.

I got them and replaced the Logitech ones, 2 satelites and subwoofer. Honestly that subwoofer was just extra junk and cables running around. The separate volume button was finicky and the subwoofer sometimes would crap out. These sound decent. No great shakes but good for normal use. I'm happy to have purchased them.

What do you expect for $9? Logitech THX computer speakers with a separate subwoofer?

Decent USB powered speakers can sound pretty good... unless you expect thunderous bass from them.
