I have this and used it years ago. It's not very accurate in terms of how much chemical it draws out, and not accurate in its spray pattern. The selection dial is also a bit confusing in that it's listed in teaspoons and tablespoons instead of ounces, which is how most chemicals are listed.
My recommendation is to skip this and go with an Ortho or Chameleon hose end sprayer. I'm not aware of any hose end sprayer that is really high quality and as accurate as a decent pump sprayer, but the Ortho and Chameleon aren't too bad to use. Both can be gotten fairly cheaply from any big box home improvement store, although not as cheap right now as this Chapin deal
I have this, and it's a fine product, though I use it less than the ortho dial n spray, primarily because the reservoir on this is significantly smaller than the ortho. It's not at all worth the 35 msrp. 20ish is about a fair price, and the current price is a very good deal.
The Chapin 362 is the same sprayer as the Gilmour 362. I drove about 20 miles to go to the only Ace Hardware that carried the Gilmour, JUST for the fact that it was Made in USA. The container is made in the US. The actual sprayer is made in china. I could have bought the same thing a mile away at Lowe's. That said...it has lasted about 6-7 years, although I only used it a few times. I did use it this spring and it still worked after being unused for about 2 years.. It always leaked a little...minor annoyance. I'm sure there are better options but this was my first hose sprayer and for what I am using it for I probably won't upgrade until it breaks. I found that the container is a little small for some chemicals that need a higher concentration just cause of the need to refill a few times. Just passing this on in case someone was considering that this was a purely US item. For $6 it isn't bad. I think I paid $15.
