Offer a big discount and then Jack up their prices of their MSRP
In many areas, Adidas (and other popular retailers like Nike) have started using LaserShip, which is a smaller, cheaper (and contracted) delivery company. Look them up. They have a ton of negative reviews for stealing packages, especially those marked with common brand names like the ones mentioned above.
FWIW, I ordered from Adidas using PayPal the last time I checked out. Adidas shipped using LaserShip, and about a week later LaserShip updated my tracking details with "photo proof" marking the item as delivered.. except when taking a look at the attached photo, the package was shown at a random mail center like one would see at an apartment complex. Pretty weird, since I live in a detached home and I don't have one of those mail centers. Opened a case with PayPal against Adidas, sent pictures of the tracking verification and pictures of my front porch (where the package should've been delivered), and PayPal ruled in my favor. A refund came in a few days later.
Might want to keep this experience in mind.. a quick search of the shipping company shows that my experience is far from an isolated incident. And even opening a case through LaserShip customer support did nothing. A "manager" called saying I would get my package within the hour and no one came. Waste of time.

Yup. Sometimes even more.
These are not the deals that they used to be.
Sad.
