My ex got a Klean Kanteen water bottle because I kept complaining to him that he kept stealing mines. Very solid construction.

There is a big difference between this and the double wall vacuum insulated ones, so if you're looking for it to keep drinks cold for a long time and not sweat you may want to pass.

These are okay but once the bottom gets dinged up, it won't stand up anymore.

you can put a dowel inside them and use a mallet to reshape them so that they stand up. I've had my first klean kanteen for over 13 years (rough use, many drops, daily use) and it's still going fine. I don't use that one as much anymore because a couple years ago I got an insulated one which is now my main daily bottle

I already have a Zojirushi that I love but I'm still interested in this because of the single wall design. I boil water even after filtering so I'm looking for a stainless steel container that I can pour hot water in and let it cool down quickly. Thermos bottles are inefficient for my use case. I've also looked into glass carafes but most of them are not safe for use with hot water. I'm also wondering if this bottle will be hot to the touch after pouring hot water in?
