Note: Amazon has the same price, but it is back ordered for 3 weeks (if want from Amazon and don't mind waiting)

Use CashApp card booster "10% off of Microsoft purchase" and get the controller for even cheaper still.

None of my Dreamcast, N64, PS2, OG Xbox, or PS3 sticks ever developed stick drift. I'm still using the PS3 controllers.

Some definitely last longer than others but moving parts always wear out over time. That and a big part of it is the size of the dead zone. For some reason, the new consoles and games insist on having basically zero dead zone, so the problems show up much faster.

Not really a slick deal. It's the same price everywhere. Normal sale price goes down to 49.xx.

Best buy has it too now for 49.99 black

Yeah, and eventually the sun will blow up. My PS3 controllers have lasted over 12 years with only battery replacements. Maybe they'll develop stick drift in 20 years. Maybe they won't. Claiming every controller will develop stick drift EVENTUALLY is a moot point if they last this long. If you want to amend that to new generation controllers, I can't comment. But I keep my controllers for years and I've never seen a single one develop stick drift.

I've had stick drift on PS3, PS4, XB, X360, XO, N64, GCN, and Switch. If you look into the manufactures of these sticks they only guarantee them for a certain amount of uses. Based on my experience they will all fail eventually but it depends on how much time you are putting into them. With my PS4 and Xbox One controllers I was sharing them so we were putting 6-12 hours of use each day playing mostly FPS and they both failed within a year. My PS5 and XSX controllers haven't run into any issues yet but I'm not putting the time into them like I used to so I expect them to last longer.

To clarify, I'm not claiming controllers don't develop stick drift. Of course stick drift is real. What I'm saying is not EVERY controller will develop stick drift in it's expected lifespan.
