Good gym, not a horrible price. I got mine from Sam's Club for $420 shipped.

Buyer beware. I bought the last "deal" from this company on June 30th and am still waiting for the 3rd box to arrive, 18 days later. I will likely be returning the other 2 boxes and not buying from this seller again.

Agree, Spreetail is not the best seller. I have had several "bait and switch" purchases where they send something similar, but not at all what I ordered, and not even in the same price range. They have refunded me each time, but I think it's a blatant attempt to see if you notice or bother trying to return. YMMV.

I think Sams Club has similar Marcy Home Stack Gym, MWM-1005 for $379.98. I ordered it last Nov and got free shipping but it shows $99 now.

Very expensive plays to hang one's clothes, which is how 99.9% of these machines end up. If you're serious about fitness, this isn't the way to go.

Why isn't this the way to go?

This is a cheap piece of equipment and you hit a plateu pretty quickly due to the low weight. This is more of a feel good device where you buy it to feel good about yourself. Its the equivalent of paying for a gym with good intentions of going, but just end up not going but still paying.

The way to go would be buying from reputable brands like Rogue.

Disagree, there is a market for this that does not need to hit the weight wall. Not everyone needs to go beyond what this offers.

Agree. Also, it's simply not well made. The pulleys aren't smooth. The upholstery is thin. The padding is mushy. The rollers are low-grade foam and will fall apart. The leg rollers are at a fixed height, so they will be in the wrong position unless you happen to be exactly the right height.

For a child or a casual lifting woman, the 150-lb limit may not be an issue. However, any adult male that is even remotely serious about lifting will plateu very quickly. I would recommend at least 200 lbs for an adult male. And again, regardless of the weight limit, it's simply not a well-made piece of equipment. Life Fitness, Hoist, Inspire, etc. all make multi-gyms that are at least well-made.

This is a huge case of gatekeeping fitness. People are buying these to stay in shape, not to get swole. If they get a couple years out of it and want to "get serious" they can get a gym membership or sell this on craigslist for a better unit.

Again, there is a market for this and I will agree it's not for "swole dude"....swole dude, eat some protein, get your power rack and move on.
It is well made and does the job it is designed to do.

Whats the amount of weight it can go up to?

NVM Says 150lbs, but my question is since its pully system does it feel like less than 150?

*Info from the manual*
Using the cable resistance, the Front Press is adjustable to 200 lbs, and everything else is adjustable to 160 lbs.

Anyone actually have this and can comment on the high and low pulleys?

Plate loaded lat pull down machines go for $400 or so right now and I'm looking for one for my home gym. This includes the pulleys with a weight stack plus more. I already have a Rogue power rack, barbell, dumbbells, etc.
