To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
It's a copy pasta, he's being facetious.

Seems like a pretty good deal for a currently airing season. I believe you can stream them for free on Cartoon Network/Adult Swim if you have a cable provider. That said, anyone in such a situation probably wouldn't be interested in this deal.

This is a normal price for a season.
Nope. Normal price is between $18.99 and $24.99 depending on the platform. Microsoft has it for $24.99 right now for instance: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p...verviewtab

Yes, if you're like me, you don't want to pay for cable television so shows that we'd watch routinely make sense to purchase. This is one of those shows I can put on a random episode when there's nothing to watch on another streaming services to kill some time.

This is the typical Rick & Morty fan response that I think puts a lot of people off from the show. The fans can be obnoxious and full of themselves, most of them have maybe read a couple of science fiction novels and think they are super geniuses because there is actually an animated show that doesn't pander to the lowest common denominator.

That being said, the show is pretty darn funny. Lots of the plots draw from sci-fi literature and take it to the extreme, so it helps if you have read some science fiction or like old-school Star Trek. Some elements are really whacky, and kind of random, but if you like science fiction and absurdism you will enjoy it.
