I just got it free on PS4 through PlayStation Store, the other day. Might want to check there before buying.

You probably only got the first episode free.

Is it better paced than the first one? There were sections in the first one that were extremely boring.

Gone at Walmart and nearest GameStop in stock is like 50 miles away. So typical.

I thought the 2nd was much, much heavier plot-wise (both in depth and seriousness). For $10 it's a steal.

I paid full price for this and loved this game. It also comes with a bonus episode which was really good too.

For those not aware it's a story-driven game that revolves around the butterfly effect with a supernatural twist. The choices you make significantly impact the story for better or worse.

Surprised nobody has asked but do you have to have played the first one?

Life is Strange 2 is like Tell Tale. Tragic.... no good choice.

I love Sean Diaz!

I wish I had a brother like him.

Nope! There are subtle references that are more Easter egg than anything and not necessary at all!

Love the first game but when I play the demo for this one, I was just not feeling it. 3rd one seems interesting though

Yeah, not necessary at all, but rewarding for anyone that does play through the first one to see the small connections and what the timeline is.

It does ask you when you start if you played the first game and how it ended for you, but that's mainly for one scene of dialogue that you have in Chapter 4, I believe.

The situations the brothers face throughout the game definitely hit hard, especially the one out in the Nevada desert, but I can't discount Max and Kate's scene from the first. I imagine a lot of people messed that up and replayed it to get a better outcome with how heavy that was.
