Oh hell yeah, OP. These things last forever compared to the normal posts ("normal" = the kind with the sisal rope wrapped around them tight compared to this which is like a sisal sheet). This price is great. Bought four.

Awesome! I prefer this one over the Smartkat one simply because this one has a textured grippy top. The Smartkat one meanwhile has a more expensive wooden top, the wood is slippery and not padded.

I only had mine for 1 year and the bottom part of the post detached from the base due to wear and tear from my cats, causing the whole thing now to wobble. But the price is reasonable enough for me to replace it with a new one.
