I don't understand the decision to buy a 3050ti.
what are the 3050's for? Can they game?
If you're buying a Dell XPS 15 for gaming in the first place then there is lot for you to understand first.
Yes, they can definitely game, but not as good as a cheaper gaming laptop with a full powered RTX 3060.

Ever since I switched to AMD laptop and M1 macbook, I got no heating issues like xps always used to run hot. Is the newer processor any better in handling heat?

The 10nm based Tiger Lake H series is better than Intel's previous generations, both in terms of performance and power efficiency but in thermals and efficiency, Ryzen is still better. Sad thing is Dell doesn't use AMD in their premium productivity laptops. You have to ho for Lenovo or Asus for such high end AMD based productivity machines.

Lol, did you really compare this to a ROG? That's like cross shopping a Hummer and a Camry.

No. 13, 15, or 17 are your choices

You're showing your lack of knowledge if you're making that statement. The ROG M16 is very comparable to the 9510.
