Great deal on the 75" Samsung Q80T if you have a Microcenter close by. This was one of last year's best TVs! I just bought one by price matching with Best Buy!
Don't have micro center nearby, tried chatting to BB, they say they won't match online, but might match in store.
Does anyone have experience, would BB instore PM if I don't have microcenters around?
I ordered 75" Sony X90CH today from Costco for $1299. Should i keep this or cancel my order & get Samsung Q80T?
I would use rtings.com to compare the two TVs. Costco's got a killer return policy in its favor. I have the Q80T and love the TV. I would have opted for an OLED but decided against it because the family watches too much cable news (static crawls risking burn in). My TV has a lot of glare in the room so I wanted a TV that resists glare well (which the Q80T does per Rtings and eye test). Personally I also had other Samsungs, and had good luck with their durability over time so I was leaning Samsung for some specific reasons.

Do you game and do you have a Xbox Series X or PS5?
If you do, the Samsung has VRR and does 4K@120hz.
If you don't, I would spend less and keep the Sony. It has a better contrast ratio and better image processing. Samsung may be a tad brighter but not by enough to matter.

I don't do gaming. It's mostly for watching movies & series. I also got 5 years manufacturer's warranty with Sony.
I was able to price match on best buy by calling them on 1(888) 237-8289. The person on chat said they can't price match due to the difference being >$200.
Best Buy chat wouldn't price match online because they said Microcenter was limited stock.
Talked with two different reps. They wouldn't price match it for me either. I'm going to try my local BBY after work. I wonder how this compares to the X900H. I had that TV previously, but it was defective so I sent it back. I know this TV lacks Dolby Vision, but that's OK.
Edit: Called the Best Buy Elite Plus line, and I was able to get it price matched! Thanks OP!

Keep the Sony. That is the same tv I have in the bedroom. Great for watching movies and tv shows. Enjoy it.
