Also if youre looking to buy a high end Zen 3 CPU, probably wait another 2 months as Intel will outperform it, giving you that option, or at least causing AMD to finally cut prices

Yup for sure, the cpu market looking a lot better. Choices from both camps.
Ryzen r9 5900x, i5 11400 and r5 3600 are my 2 recommendations.
That but also some of it went to rdna2 and a lot sent to consoles
let's get back to reality. AMD has lost a ton of time and sales. the 5000 series has had such little shelf life now that the next-gen AMD is about to come out. I almost decided to wait it out for next-gen as that will take advantage of DDR5 and other new technologies and will require a new socket/mb.

There's always the next Gen around the corner. Just keep waiting….
And I won't be able to just drop in the next-gen CPU. I'm going to need a new motherboard, new RAM, etc.
