Seems like a good deal. Thinking about pulling the trigger. Other than it being a new company/drive, the marketing raises a few questions.

What do those theoretical performance numbers have to do with efficiency?

All this, and no mention of TBW (standard in which SSD/Flash lifespans are measured). MTBF is used for platter drives, not SSDs. Most importantly, no mention of warranty, which I can't seem to find anywhere on the Newegg listing.

I can't knock them for posting this to get out ahead of the inevitable "iWaZ cHeAtEd!" reviewers that don't understand that Windows misreports Gibibytes and Tebibytes as Gigabytes and Terabytes.
1024 bytes = Kibibyte
1000 bytes = Kilobyte

The lack of warranty is what's going to keep me from buying this though. I do like that it's a Taiwanese company rather than Chinese, but there needs to be a stated warranty.

EDIT:
I was still curious, so I went to their website to see if maybe that stated some kind of warranty. Not only does their website have even less information on products than this Newegg listing, it doesn't even list a JS500 model. Only JS300 and JS600 models on their website, and still no mention of a warranty.

Went from "hmmm, maybe I'll risk it" to "Hard Pass"

The Samsung QVO drive was on sale recently for 185. Not much of a price difference for some peace of mind.

Well, I was cruising Amazon for a similar SSD when I found this:
https://www.amazon.com/LEVEN-Inte...08M97SLRP/
JS600 2TB model for the same price, which is listed on their site, and it states 3YR warranty on Amazon...

Though Newegg vs Amazon is a toss-up IMHO, I would likely go for the model that is at least listed on their own website and the listing that has a stated warranty. Still a gamble, might be okay for a game drive.
