Normally, you're allowed a single trade-in per purchase. There is Family Trade In that allows you to buy up to four Galaxy S21 phones and send an old unit for each one, but not more than you ordered. This seems to be the first time that Samsung has offered such a two for one deal and so far it is available only on the US site.

many mainstream users are reluctant to buy the foldable phones because of their hefty price tags.
We have an acquaintance that works at Samsung in Plano, TX who a few months ago said that they'll use the chip shortage as the reason not to come out with a new Note but that they already have no intention of doing anymore work on future Note phones. The chip shortage is just a convenient excuse to consolidate the phone lines.
