Virtual desktop has been working better than Airlink for me.
I also have used both airlink and virtual desktop without issues. My setup is computer hardwired to router, and then wifi ( 5ghz) 2 rooms away from the router, with only the very rare occasional hiccup in streaming. Also running on a gtx1080. I think you might have something wrong with your setup or settings?
No, I'm using Quest 2. But the method is the still the same. Either using Virtual Desktop (paid app, not free), or using the built in Oculus Airlink feature
Awwww... weak, doesn't work with Quest 2 stand alone and I dont have a Link cable.
Do you know how to actually tell which games work with the Quest 2, PC-link only, or support both? New to VR with a Quest 2 and cannot figure out how they are indicating which games support cross-buy or which platforms they support.
I want to try on i7-10750h, 16gb ram, rtx 2060 on wifi 6 with orbi wifi 6 mesh

As far as cross-buy, there is a list of cross buy games on the oculus store.

VR games of this quality are rare, especially at this price.
Look into "Revive" software. I used it for my windows mixed reality headset to play echo arena. Something is wrong with the hand alignment where I can't throw the discs straight, but I assume with this being a single player game I won't have any issues.
I don't have any problems with AirLink. Make sure to use an access point with a separate WiFi network dedicated to just the Quest. Mesh routers don't work well at all with the Quest also.
