I must be reading this wrong or something... 550-pound capacity...

does that mean a 550-pound guy can do pull-ups? holy cow... that is super strong!

although... back when I lived in Japan for a couple of years, my apartment was a few block away from a sumo dohyo. I was always amazed at how those 300 or 400-pound guys were able to lift up another 300 or 400-pound guy by the waist and off the ground. I certainly didn't have the strength to do that.

Some add weights/plates to a weight belt to increase resistance. Yeah I'd be shocked to see a 550 lb guy do pull ups.

Yup they use their hips as leverage. It's amazing to see these Sumo s in action.

Maybe referring to this one: https://www.amazon.com/ADVENOR-St...B08BZGV3YD

Which costs a few bucks more, but seems to not have a bad smell featured in the reviews and reviewers say missing parts replaced politely (as opposed to maybe we'll replace the parts if you give us a good review first). So maybe worth an extra few bucks.

Could be the maximum weight it can handle. If a 200lbs guy yanks it, it may generate more force than that and break.
