Is this a new model?
Normally we see a $10 ea deal on 1/4 inch. 3/8 inch or 12/inch wrenches several times a year..

I cant say how accurate the old ones were. I bought one of each and I broke a bolt on my first try with the 3/8 inch one and lost all confidance that they are accurate. I need a way to prove they are accurate before I depend on it again.

You tube tests tend to agree that these are plenty accurate, however, their quality control is pretty bad and the clicks may not be very noticeable - so make sure to test yours and exchange, rebuild, or recalibrate as needed before using on something important.

And yeah, $16 is hard to stomach when there always used to be a coupon for $10 in the past.

I have a 1/2" model for lug nuts, since it's easier than standing on my head with the beam one, and accurate at least compared to my beam one. Things have changed at HF. Must be a new marketing team. At least they got rid of the paper catalog, that was a long time coming. But no more magazine or email coupons to speak of. Maybe instead of selling the wrenches for $10 half the time and $20 the other half, they decided to skip the coupons and just lower the regular price. At any rate, I need a 1/4" for a project now, so I'll be buying.

Looks like they raised the prices after the $15.99 sale price ended. Now $20 for the 1/4 $22 or $23 for the 3/8 and $25 for the 1/2. Looks like the $15.99 was a good deal and the days of the $10 sale are over Frown

Huh. Funny it was never on the sale sheet, AFAIK. Guess I did OK then. Applause

And most of the youtubers saying they're accurate don't know how to test accuracy, or what a multi-point accuracy test is.

What you're using is called a false authority fallacy.
