I wish this deal was valid for non-BMW branded vehicles, which would have been a SD.

For model year 2022 and newer vehicles sold or leased by an authorized BMW Center, BMW Ultimate Care coverage is transferable to subsequent purchasers, owners, or lessees. BMW Ultimate Care coverage is not transferable for all model years 2021 and older. Please see https://www.bmwusa.com/explore/bm...rvice.html or ask your authorized BMW Center for details. The BMW Ultimate Care Program covers all factory-recommended scheduled maintenance services as determined by the Service Interval Indicator for all new eligible model year 2017 and later BMW vehicles. Specific additional items that need replacement due to normal wear and tear are not covered. The maintenance coverage period is for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Exclusions from coverage: gasoline, gasoline additives, windshield washer fluid, fluid top-offs, battery, tires, wheels and wheel alignment, and wear-and-tear items such as brake pads, brake rotors, wiper blades, clutches and tire balancing. BMW vehicles equipped with Carbon Ceramic brakes are not eligible for BMW Ultimate Care+ upgrades or extensions. All work must be performed by an authorized BMW Center. See the Service and Warranty Information booklet for specific terms, conditions and limitations. BMW Ultimate Care+ availability varies by model. Further information can also be obtained from your authorized BMW Center. Savings up to 30% are estimated based on MSRP compared to paying for each maintenance visit individually. Your actual savings may vary. Available for vehicles under 60 months / 60,000 miles unless currently covered by an Ultimate Care+ contract. MSRP may be higher if existing coverage has lapsed. Program and pricing subject to change. The BMW Ultimate Care Oil Services plan includes unlimited oil and oil filter changes for three years for $199.00 plus taxes and disposal fees where applicable. Unlimited oil services included are based upon the associated BMW vehicle Condition Based Service (CBS) system. Non-CBS vehicles: annual low-mileage oil changes are included as outlined in your BMW Maintenance Booklet Available for all BMW vehicles that have reached 60 months or 60,000 miles and have no current Ultimate Care+ coverage. Plan is available for purchase once BMW vehicle has reached 54 months and has current BMW Ultimate Care Scheduled or BMW Ultimate Care+2 coverage. All work is carried out by BMW Trained Technicians using Original BMW Parts, which come with a two-year unlimited mileage limited warranty. Warranty repairs do not constitute an extension of the original limited warranty period for the vehicle or a part thereof.

for BMWs that have reached 60 months or 60,000 miles.which have no current Ultimate Care+ coverage plan.10,000 miles or 12 months

BMW owner's manuals recommend an oil change every 15,000 miles.
the newest models are engineered to use synthetic oils and fluids that require less changing than traditional oils. They're designed to last up to 12,000 and even 15,000 miles, roughly one driving year, between oil change intervals. Even your BMW owner's manuals recommend an oil change every 15,000 miles. And on most BMW cars, the reminder lights on the instrument panel are set to remind the driver to change their oil at this time, too.

Newer BMWs have 10K Oil change requirement.. So you will get 3-oil changes for $199. If you divide this by 3 then it costs $66.33 per oil change. This is basically at cost and with a hope that once they get you in the service bay, they can point out more services as per BMW's world-class inspection rules and they will get more business that way.

Will BMW dealers pricematch with Toyota dealers?

My Toyota comes with free lifetime oil changes. They always use Mobil 1 synthetic oil with Toyota oil filters. I don't drive that much on this car, so it only gest about 2 or 3 oil changes at most, but still worth $111.(the Toyota dealer's normal price for Mobil 1 oil changes is $37) If I drive it for 30 years, that's free $3000 in oil changes. What's funnier is that this joke reveals you don't realize that your Tesla still has oil in it, as well as coolant and brake fluid, which all need to be serviced.

10k oil changes would mean that your average driver would get 4-5 oil changes in 3 years.

Teslas do not require regular oil changes in a traditional sense as their electric motors contain grease rather than engine oil, which does not degrade noticeably over time.
Oil is used in the differential (gearbox) of a Tesla, however, this does not usually need to be changed.
