eufy Security by Anker Solo Pro 2-pack Standalone Security Cameras with Solar Panels ($290) Costco Members

$289.99

Full disclosure, I'm a eufyCam owner from the original kickstarter. I love my set.

LINK [costco.com]

$290 for two Solo Pro (not sure which exact model, looks like the E40 - details below - usually $130) and 2 solar panels (~$40 each at lowest)

So, 130x2 + 40x2 = $340. Realistically saving about $50 for a complete wireless solution for cameras. These run on Wi-Fi so make sure you have a network for them.

Hope this helps some people!

If they are like first gen, no. They only record 20 secs when someone or some thing is in view of the areas you set. If they recorded continuously you wouldn't get the battery life they posted.

Too bad the first gen can't record and charge at the same time or I would add the solar panels to mine.

Crap. I just bought the panels on Amazon for my first gen eufyCams. Where is this mentioned?

Just a guess since I can't charge and use mine at the same time. Was hoping someone could confirm.

We have this set too, from Costco. They are E40. Outstanding camera. Just found out the newer S40 is coming out at 199 each.

My prices were accurate at the time of the post. It's now 2 days later and prices have changed.

I would say no. For example, if the consumption of a continuous recording camera is 5W. 24x5=120. How large of solar panel you need for a day?

Does anyone know if this can use an existing NAS as local storage?

FYI, local store has them for $269 (ie: $20 cheaper). But most stores may not have them, at least in my region.

Where is the zip code? Thanks. My local store doesn't have any. Not sure if it's worth trying other locations.
