Then you have to opt for HP Envy 15 x360 series. I did not see any premium 15.6" Ryzen based Ultrabook. Most are 2-in-1 with 16:9 display.

Interesting product - one of the few ultralights in the consumer segment. I'm guessing this is based on the ProBook Aero. Aside from the light weight, the 16:10 aspect ratio and Zen 3 processors are big selling points, esp. as most consumer laptops with Ryzen 5000 U series have Zen 2 (5500U/5700U).

Minuses: only Realtek wifi (boo), although that should be easy to replace with Intel, and HP's 15% restocking fee.

This is the 1st time it's available in USA. There are some reviews in YouTube in Chinese language which may give you some ideas.
And battery life should not be crappy at all due to highly efficient AMD processor. Probook 435 G7 and g8 x360 have same battery capacity and as per the reviews, they go over 8 hrs with ease
And this is not really based on Probook Aero 13 series which has metal construction and 16:9 display. This is more of plastic build with metal used in some areas.

43Whr battery kind of sucks compared to the 67Whr battery in the AMD ZenBook 14 that's roughly the same price.

Asus is the only company offering that big of a battery in the their premium 14 and 13 inch Ultrabooks. However, the advantage this has is the 16:10 display with more vertical space to work on and the option of a higher resolution display as well. The upgrade cost is also pretty cheap, just $30. And I think the main reason for a bit smaller battery is the weight, less than 2.2 lbs, which is even lighter than LG Gram. This is by far HP's lightest Consumer UltraBook.
