This set will rust if you plan to wash in dishwasher. I got frustrated and threw away the entire set after 3 months.
Get some from Liberty Tabletop. I never heard of them but they are the last manufacturer left in the US. This is the only way if you want to support US producers.

I'm looking for a set like this, but am trying to avoid goods made from a particular country known for human rights abuses. This set simply says "imported". Any insights?

I feel like the definition of stainless has changed in the last 2 decades. I had a cheap set of ikea silverware from 2006. No rust at all. I buy any new utensils and they rust immediately. If it rusts, it isn't stainless. By definition (rust is a stain). How do people get away with this kind of lying?

What's the good one? I want to scoop hard ice cream without spoons bending.

18/10 won't dull and scratch as quickly.
For durability/not bending you'd probably want to just use an ice cream scooper

I work in stainless steel manufacturing. Rust (usually very sporadic rust specs) generally happens when carbon gets embedded in the steel, usually in less expensive (cheap) manufacturing processes. That doesn't mean it's not stainless steel.

Also, it's stain-"less". That doesn't mean it's stain proof.

18/0 and 18/10 has nothing to do with that. That's just material composition. Usually 18/10 is more expensive and heavier weight but that's not guaranteed. Either way as was said why are you abusing your spoons like that? Use a scoop.
