They lite up decently but they are not waterproof. They fill up with water when it rains. Not everyone does but most. Some still work but others after getting wet stopped working.

I wouldn't recommend.

I'm a sucker for solar lights. We'll see how these are. I get 2 to 3 years or even longer from some of this stuff. I get a lot of comments on my spot lights and how bright they are now that they come with 18650 batteries. People think they are low voltage lights.
