Return for any reason with pre-paid sh label within 30 days. KitchenAid backs this with a 6 month warranty, If you burn up the motor within 6 months then they will replace it in stock or refund the purchase price. K-A's excellent C.S. and reputation make this a fairly risk-free purchase imo especially with the extra discs and accessories included but it is not made for heavy or continuous use.

Um, IDK about this one for me folks.
I see Kitchenaid food processors frequently on the TV shopping channels HSN/QVC, so I went there to see reviews.
Not so good...just 2.9 out of 5 on there out of 205 reviews to date. Mostly about the plastic cup, latch, & no replacement parts.
After just under a year, starting to fall apart per say on these parts of the processor.
Ppl saying the quality of the brand isn't as good & reliable as it once was.
I think I'll search further for a a more sturdy brand to pop up....
No. That's a different model (skip to 8:12): https://youtu.be/ozmNUWWzbtM
edit: I received the silver one today. Better than expected! It looks brand new in very secure clam shell foam retail packaging with manual suitable for gift giving with zero cosmetic issues or signs of prior use. It's a good looking compact machine that most anyone will appreciate for light duty work like making loaded egg or tuna salad.

It does a nice job slicing shredding chopping carrots celery onion. The discs are sharp and can be set high near the feed tube or low. Low motor setting is for stirring. High speed is for disc use slicing and shredding or with the blade for chopping / light processing. Pulse increases the speed considerably for heavier processing and emulsification.

The fit and finish is quite good, The switches are firm responsive and easy to use. The plastic is bright and clear well designed for easy cleaning assembly and disassembly . The pieces fit together perfectly.

This model has been out a long while with mostly good reviews. I suspect they got a batch of bad motors. Hopefully this is now resolved but don't expect it to do the work of a 600 watt machine.

I ordered before I posted this deal but still have not received my processor.

Thank you everybody for the reputation given here. I trust that you are at the Farmers Market today scoring the best deal of all real food grown locally with love.
I actually ordered the black which was ~$5 more but I thought it might fit in better in my kitchen. They had other colors too but not as cheap as the silver. if a ton of people jumped on the silver one you posted that might explain them having to shuffle things to meet demand. Or maybe I just am closer to a warehouse.

All I did was make some chicken salad but everything looks good

Got mine (the silver one) and it works so much better than my 20 year old Hamilton Beach. Doesn't leave big chunks that never get processed. This was a great deal, thanks OP!

Technically I bought the black version at the same link for a tiny bit more cause it seemed like it would fit better in my kitchen so it might have shipped faster with lower demand but it's the same thing just different plastic. Looks good/seems to work fine

You're mighty welcome Brian! Not everyone realizes it but when something is purchased that works well the only thanks people like you and me get for our effort posting a deal is when Reputation is clicked. Receiving Rep what motivates everyone here to share deals whereas thumbing up or thanking in the tread alone does not.

Everybody: Give your processor a workout during the 30 day refund period or at least within the 6 month free replacement period. Apparently there were some defective motors at some point. It's likely the refurbs have had the motors replaced with updated versions but who knows. "Workout" means processing within the limits of a 250 watt machine and allowing cool down not subjecting it to work expected of a 600 watt machine such as dough hard nuts hard cheese or ice.

This was my experience. I think this is the same model they had at my Costco warehouse. I returned it after the motor burnt up trying to chop up cubes of parmesan cheese.
Why would you chop parmesan when you can grate or shred it.
