I don't think you quite understand there technology in these earphones. It's like saying your phone is manufactured for $60, so I'm not going to pay what's asked.

The ability to fit 6 balanced armature drivers and to tune them to all work together to accurately reproduce sound is incredible. The research required to pull this off as well as the service after the sale is what you're really paying for.

And if you're happy with the free headphones you go with your iPhone 3 years ago, then continue enjoying them. But don't crap on what is a truly great product because you aren't the target audience.
You realize that this is the equivalent of complaining about the cost of an S65 AMG you cannot afford as you drive your $15,000 car, saying that you don't understand how the car can cost that much when our advances have come so far, right?

Spoiler alert: better items cost more money. Just because you can get $20 Anker earbuds doesn't refute the existence of high end IEMS.
Just because you don't understand them doesn't mean they aren't with it.

Ps: these are cheap for decent IEMs. You can go well into the $2k range for a pair.
The engineering and research invested costs a lot of money

Hard to believe with manufacturing technology at the level it is that we would spend that much for earbuds. Wired or not. The cost to make them are mere pennies compared to cost

I had the W3 wayyyyy back when and they were for sure the best in ears I've ever used. Then the W4 came out for around this price and I was super jealous. Can't believe you can get 6 drivers for the same price. That's advancement.

Jokes apart, I believe Moondrop blessing 2 dusk might be a better choice compare to this one.

Unless things have changed it does NOT come with V2. Only the W80 comes with the V2.

I ended up going down the IEM wormhole when the w80 were listed the other week. Ended up with settling on Ikko OH10 earbuds with Qudelix 5k DAC/Amp for around $275. Sound quality is insane with Tidal master quality music.

I would recommend starting off with something similar that's cheaper until you find a sound preference (treble, bass, mids etc). Chinese audio products (Chi-Fi) are getting pretty dang good for the buck.

You don't seem to understand that the cost of producing a product includes a lot more than just the raw materials.
