DEWALT DCS571B Atomic 20V Max Brushless 4 1/2" Cordless Circular Saw (Tool Only). I bought one last year at Home Depot with a free 5.0 amp battery and love it. I have recently purchased a DeWalt 12 Volt Extreme 1/2 Impact Wrench with Fastener Inc. They are legit.

If you want to get it on Amazon the deal is posted on slick deals: https://slickdeals.net/f/15194992-dewalt-atomic-20v-max-circular-saw-4-1-2-inch-tool-only-dcs571b-99-22?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

This thing is awesome for what it's intended for, I understand that gripe on the atomic line but this tool is the exception to that.

If it says Atomic, avoid it like It's Fukushima 2012.

Edit: Why does Dewalt not have a better, non-atomic, version of this? Dang, Dewalt!!! Quit Slippin!!!

Atomic is basically lighter & smaller while sacrificing power.

However the size and weight really isn't that different or worth it for most applications/people.
For example, I think the atomic drill/driver is 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 a pound lighter. Is that worth sacrificing power for it?

Now there may be some specific Atomic tools that may be worth it. I think this may be one, since the specific purpose is to have a small light-weight circular saw if you don't need to lug around a "full sized" circular saw.

Nothing wrong with the Dewalt Atomic line of tools. It's DeWalt's mid-grade Brushless line of tools. The XR DeWalt power tools are geared more for the professionals with more power and options. I love the Dewalt Atomic Circular Saw.

So much info given to back your statement.

I have this atomic circular saw and it is light and powerful enough for any house projects.

This saw rocks. I throw carbide blades on this and it cuts metal like butter.

Great tool, I paid full price and it was worth it. Cuts 2 by lumber, great for cutting sheet goods in the big box store parking lot to fit in a smaller car, doesn't eat battery too bad.

Can it cut concrete? Or will this wear out the tool after so many cut?

What exactly is your goal and the scope of your concrete cutting?
Realize the max depth of the cut is only about 1 1/2", where most concrete is at least 4" thick. It may be best for cutting some control joints in concrete on a small scale, but a 6 1/2" or 7 1/2" saw would allow more lengthy cuts.

This saw will cut concrete, but only 1 1/2" deep, and it's best done only with a decent segmented diamond blade. Abrasive blades will work, but they wear fast and are extremely dusty.
The only thing that 'wears out' power tools in concrete cutting is (1) abrasive concrete dust entering the tool's vents and (2) the operator feeding it too fast or overheating the blade. (Number 1 can be mostly remedied by using a vacuum on the dust port or wet sawing).
