It doesn't and its not compatible with it. It will work with the Microsoft surface pens, but it doesn't track as well as the surface let alone s-pen devices.

You need an .edu email address, so unless you know students in high school or college (not sure about elementary or middle) who are given .edu email accounts, you cannot.

In the past, you could register for certain online colleges for free to get an .edu email, but I don't think that's possible today. Maybe check with your local community college if there's a way to enroll as a student and possibly not take classes (excuse about potential job, moving, etc). But it may not work if you don't register for a course...per my local CC website: "Instructions to activate your email account will be sent to the email address you provided in your admissions application within 24 hours of the time you register for your first course."

Here is the answer (thanks to SpinControl for sharing)

-------
No, the Alpha Flex2 does not have Thunderbolt or USB-C charging.

You'll have to step up to the Galaxy Pro 360 for both. With the edu discount, the Pro 360 is ~$1050 plus tax.

The Alpha Flex2 has USB-C port that *may* output 4k with a hub. It also has an HDMI port. I will have to check on both and update.

There is provision for only one ssd. You could change it and/or partition it to dual boot.

Just got a price match approved for the two i7 16gb that I paid $720 each 2 weeks ago. This is the best laptop I have ever used! And I am not a cheap person when it comes to laptop. All my life I paid $2K per laptop every few years, always bought high end HPs, DELLs. And my office always buys me top end Macbook pro models every 3 years. And I am still amazed by this one. The last $2k laptop that I bought was ~5 years ago And my $3500+tax Macbook is only 2 years old. I am sure if I pay $2k now, that will surpass this one. But this is such a nice laptop. I don't think I will ever have to pay $2k for laptops. I guess technology always advances Smilie
i7, 16 g, 512gb black is $678.

How is the battery life in yours? I returned mine because the battery was miserable. I would lost 5-10% by put it to sleep overnight. And usage wise it's not only like 5hrs before I have to charge. Not sure if I got a lemon?

edit: before anyone asks, I only used it for web browsing and movie watching. nothing intensive.

Also a great deal. The 8gb i5 is no slouch and will perform well for general use, but the i7 has more cache, higher clocks, higher EU's for IGP ('cores'), double the RAM, and with the way most SSD's work's the higher capacity models of the same SSD have better performance. If you look at Intel Ark pricing, basically the CPU cost difference is $100+ by itself. Both models are going to be great deals, just depends on if you need the extra performance.
