I was considering ordering lunch just now and in the Grubhub app it gave me a special offer for free Grubhub+ through 2021. I checked on my girlfriend's account and the offer was there as well so this may be available for everyone. They didn't even want a CC for auto-renewal. So, check the app and see if you get the offer, YMMV of course.

It's funny how people still do not understand how these delivery services work. They're not in business for you to save money. They're offering a service for convenience and to prey on the laziness of people. Also if people don't know by now; Grubhub doesn't alter the prices of the menu for restaurants; The restaurants set the prices and will usually raise their prices to counteract the percentage fees that Grubhub, Doordash, UberEats collects from them. The monthly membership fees is usually for slightly lower fees and free delivery from most places offered on their site/app. This is consider a "luxury" service; If you don't like it, just drive and go pick up the food from them. Every time I see a post about doordash, grubhub, or Ubereats, it's always people complaining about the prices. Well no shit sherlock.. you think these companies are running a charity and delivering your food for free?

please do not tip on the app until after the delivery, grubhub is subsiding your tips for their couriers pay.

Example: They pay me $6 per delivery, if let's say you tip $3, they will only pay me $3 instead of $9.

I went through this link quoted and it said I would get it through 2021 but after signing up it shows in my account that it expires October 19.Confused
