like all other deal sites, SD is an affiliate partner to all these brands/websites except their the biggest or one of the biggest in terms of traffic/user base. even for the smallest of commission, the sheer volume driven by SD still generate a lot of $$.

despite the shill post, will buy one to try at $12. imo, glare is extremely bad at night especially for people with astigmatism so im very curious to how these can help based on the user reviews on amazon (hopefully not all fake/paid).

Yes. I agree that they are the biggest or close to it for deal sites. But for a $12 item, if they generate $1 per item then it's less than 500 bucks for the deal posting.
I would assume that the company will sell between 100 - 500 of these. I would be surprised if it generated any more sale than that because deals for these kind of cheap glasses keep popping up all the time

there's probably a combination of funding happening with amazon as the marketplace cutting a set % to SD for each sale while Bircen or whoever provides a direct lump sum payment to SD for featuring the brand/deal.
