Microsoft Store also has the Dirty Harry collection for $25 if you prefer. These movies are MA compatible and will port.

Time for a rewatch of Prometheus and I've never seen Covenant, $5 each for UHD seems like a no-brainer. Thanks OP!
The Home Alone bundle only entitles you to both movies in HDX quality, despite Home Alone 1 also being available in 4K UHD. This is where it hurts that VUDU doesn't have as generous an upgrade policy as Apple. You only get what you pay for, not for what is available. Fair warning. Despite this, I'm not convinced either Home Alone would benefit much from a 4K resolution due to their age. But both are hilarious holiday movies worth owning so you might want to jump on this deal now because I've only seen this bundle go on sale as low as $12-13 after Labor Day.
I understand how film and resolution works. Film is also not static. It ages, and it can degrade depending on how well it was initially conserved and stored. Perhaps there is significant film grain on the master reels because of the lenses used. What I do know is these are two of the funnier holiday movies you can enjoy with anyone, young and old. Not some cinematic, CGI blockbuster with amazing video/audio characteristics. I'll take a 4K remaster if offered, but I doubt its going to matter that dramatically in the long run.
I'm a little tired of everyone beating the resolution drum around here. Nothing is going to replicate the impact of going from SD to HD resolution. That difference was night and day. Any future resolution improvements are debatable window dressing, as the human eye is nowhere capable of discerning all of these pixels beyond a certain distance.

Kingsman 4k blu-ray will drop to approximately the same price and includes the digital copies, for those that prefer physical.

In for the X files, the first movie alone is worth 10 bucks. Second one should be free lol

Home Alone and Home Alone 2 bundle is on sale for $10. Only part one is 4K, but still cheaper than buying just part one in UHD.

Quote from DirkBelig :
While Prometheus was visually rich and fun enough to overcome some real dumb in the script, Alien Covenant is a traveshamockery of a movie which is so freaking [R-word] that it boggles the mind anyone thought it was a good idea. Everyone is stupid on stilts throughout and due to the insane decision to cut two crucial scenes of character development from the beginning of the film to post as promo videos on YouTube instead, you have no idea who anyone is and thus don't care when they start getting mass-murdered by misfortune and beasties.

Not kidding. Everything is so stupid. I could rant a dozen paragraphs, but since you're likely to get it anyway, I won't ruin it for you. But if you want counseling after watching, feel free to message me. Smilie
I will report back!

That's great to know! I already own both in HD. When I looked at the bundle, it displays the individual titles "included." When you click through to part 1, it's listed as UHD. Is there somewhere else you look for the accurate info with VUDU bundles? You're probably right about marginal quality. I would still roll the dice on that considering with John Hughes it wouldn't have been originally shot on junk film.

On Vudu bundle deals, if one movie is only in HDX and the other in UHD, then it's always selling as HDX bundle. If both movie has UHD option then they'll list a price for both in UHD.

Bone Tomahawk has one of the most brutal kill scenes I've seen in a long time. Will haunt you for days... if you know, you know.

Old movies, such as Home Alone, were shot on film, which has roughly a 5.6k resolution.
