I do not believe you have that option with this set, unless you just fast forward the extended scenes.😄

Nice price. I managed to get it a bit cheaper on Christmas day last year, but this is a good deal.

I particularly like that they are offering the smaller bundles (by trilogy) at essentially the same price per movie (and technically, you save a penny by doing the two trilogies instead of all 6 at once).

One of my favorite franchises of all time. I owned the HD set, and immediately snatched the 4k up earlier this year when they had a flash sale. And I never regretted it. My wife was even amazed at the detail in the 4k over the HD. Totally worth it, even if upgrading from HD. And for reference, I watch from Vudu on Roku.

I alrady have the theatrical in UHD and extended in HDX.

Which of these sets in extended UHD is better? I want to buy one now and one later this year.

Can you comment on the image quality on these? Do these have the same ugly green tint that the Bluray releases have? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vwcm-73kZE8

Unfortunately, I can't. Like many movies I get, they go into my backlog for later watching (and haven't come up yet).

I haven't seen either of the 4k versions yet, but just going off the HD extended versions I would definitely go for the Lord of the Rings trilogy first. The Hobbit extended has some strange stuff thrown in, especially the R-rated Battle of five armies. Some of the unnecessary violence is almost comically bad.

Here is an article that may be helpful, it is for the 4k bluray though: https://www.avforums.com/reviews/...view.18240

On the bundle link it doesn't list that it's movies anywhere compatible but it does on each individual movies page. Has anyone bought the bundle and it showed up on MA?

How good of a deal are we looking at here? I know I don't have a time machine, but what's the historic low? Thanks for all the fish.
