I heard it was ridiculously hard - like Celeste hard. Is that true?
I played and beat both, and I didn't find Vigil too difficult (in fact, I had also heard it was hard and was a little disappointed that it wasn't). Like most Metroidvanias, you quickly become overpowered. If you're familiar with soulslike mechanics, it uses a little bit of that which makes it easie for those used to itr. There's definitely harder Metroidvanias out there on the Switch (i.e. Salt & Santuary, Sundered, Dead Cells, etc.). I don't believe it had an assist mode like Celeste. With all that said, I felt it was a decent game and well worth this price (I paid about the same).c

Thanks. I didn't find Sundered all that hard other than the bosses. Salt & Sanctuary was ridiculous, though.

Agreed. It feels a little hollow, almost like it was rushed.
On PC, there's performance issues, so I doubt the Switch version runs well.

No. Was not hard. Blasphemous is hard, this one wasn't bad.
