Amazon review says " Does not work with Yeti microphone when using the Phone app. Can only be used by certain apps such as Voice Memos. But the reason I bought this was to improve audio quality for phone calls"

I had wanted to try it with my Blue Snowball

Not sure about Blue Yeti but I have used this adapter successfully with my Blue Snowball ICE without the need of an external USB hub. It improves the audio in my videos.

A lot of reviews have said that you need an external power source for that to work.
09-13-2021 at 10:19 AM
This adapter does not send any power so unpowered devices like USB drives do not work.

They make too much money keeping it instead of moving to USB-C like the entire industry.
I think I read somewhere it's $4 per product for Apple to certify a lighting product.
If a company makes 10,000 cables to sell, they pay $40,000 for Apple to certify it.
True, but I think it's inevitable. The entire iPad line has switched to USB C, so it's only a matter of time.

Don't have immediate use for it but at this price I'm sure it'll come in handy for something.

In for one Used Like new @ $6.33. These are a great way for getting hi-res lossless from an iPhone to your DAC, if you're an Apple Music subscriber.

Might wanna reread those rumors Bucky.

Not one rumor for the upcoming iPhone 13 mentions removing the port. In future phones, possibly, but not this year.

I thought so too but good sourced leaks of even next year's iPhone design still have the lighting port. It's still they're option to change. They probably won't ditch until they go portless and switch to wireless charging only.
