Last two refurbished ones i bought looked to be in basically brand new condition. One had an issue with the pinch sensor about 9 months in and they walked me through how to fix it as well as sent out a replacement part even though i didn't need it yet.

Do cats typically get on board with these pretty quickly? I'm concerned mine would be spooked. She doesn't even like the enclosed space in her cat condo.

My cats adjusted to this pretty quick. I think I had their old litterbox near it for about a week and let that one get dirty. Once they started using the automated one I took away the litter box. I would recommend the connect version, it alerts you if the drawer is full or the litterbox gets stuck (rare, but good to know).

We just got a brand new one and it's been fantastic! cats love it and took to it right away. At first they'd go, jump out, and just watch it cycle. The app tells you when it's full. Great deal on a used version!
