Handy little splitter to have if you don't want to mess with y cables. I used one on a friend's build.

ARGB? I'd buy one in a heartbeat if it could set its alpha, and I don't even own a desktop system.

I'm a little disappointed that there's no ARGB on the ARGB controller. It'll be like, eh dawg I heard you like ARGB so I put ARGB on your ARGB controller

If you have a case with RGB fans and an RGB mother board, you can replace all your perfectly good RGB fans with ARGB fans and not use your motherboards RGB controller just for the glamour of it. Confused

If you have ARGB/PWM fans, you can connect up to 6 into this hub, which in turn connects to your motherboard. The benefit is that it will only use one pwm & argb header on your mobo since those can be quite limited.

Since this does not include software, are you still limited to your motherboard's RGB software with this hub?

It's just a way to use 6 things from one source. It doesn't care what software.

Thanks. I wonder if it's compatible with my (dreaded) RGB Fusion/Gigabyte software? Would love to be able to control (and customize colors) from one source.

This isn't really a deal. They go for this price on Amazon all the time. All cooler master did was slap their name on a premade device. Just search "rgb splitter" on Amazon.

example if you don't care about the case.
argb: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08HT1FN24/

can't seem to find the normal rgb one on Amazon, I've seen them on AliExpress.

I personally have an rgb and an argb one of these in my PC https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07XB5F8K7

It will. It's not doing anything but splitting, there's no chips or anything.

It should be noted that it's independently powered from a SATA connection so that you aren't trying to pull all that current through a single motherboard header. So this is a good alternative to having a bunch of PWM Y's...
2 fans on one header, sure... 3 fans on one header, wouldn't suggest it... 6 fans on one header, something's gonna pop.

You can actually typically do 4 off of one before you run into them being choked by lack of power. With that said, I wouldn't do it either as the max per port is an amp, after that stuff will start to run slower, if at all.

I typically like to limit it to 2 fans per port just so theres plenty of extra power left over. and I'm lazy and don't want to do math XD

there's quite a variation between the required amperage between fans. my noctua redux only pulls 0.09A and I've had some corsair fans that pull like 0.37A.

the general rule of thumb is to not exceed 1A on a single header unless you know the header is capable of more than that.

but yes this hub is powered by sata so no need to worry about the mobo header.
