These don't throw off a lot of light either. My last bunch of these type of lights from Amazon produced 4400 lumens - over twice what these produce.

If more light is needed the set below is a better choice. I have two set and let me tell u they are the best. Keep my garage well illuminated as well as the patio. It comes with quite a few on/off switch for independently use or if you can connect it inline with adapters provided as well. The set from OP doesn't diffuse the light (hard on the eye). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HBT3...VM5A9DAJ1M

Clear lens/no diffuser is bad for LED lighting; very harsh shadows with color fringing. You need a very high mounting height to overcome this. On a typical garage ceiling you want a diffuser.

Also this price is average/high. Benchmark is $5 per strip for this much light output (=15W medium base bulb).

You are perhaps right, but I'd never believe the lumen rating from any manufacturer that isn't independently tested.

These are really under-cabinet task lights not garage lights.

too bad its only 6500k, would prefer 4000k or at most 5000k

You can get twice the light (2x 4ft vs 2x 2ft) for the same price:

Agreed, the full description of "LED Shop Light for Kitchen, Garage, Workbench, Under Counter Lighting" is much more accurate than the truncated "shop light" in the SD title.

This is a good deal, but they're also 4ft. Some people may need the 2 ft

Good catch! But the 2ft could come in handy for some who can only fit 2ft
