This strong enough to clamp a dual monitor mount on this type of desk converter?
Got it for the same price last time it was posted a few months ago.

Seems sturdy enough. The base of this thing is like an ironing board where one side slides when lifting up.. Fits my 2 24 inch monitors with stand base attached but stand base is almost maxed at the edge. Might need a monitor mount if you have larger ones.

My setup is 2 dell p2419H (24inch) monitors with laptop (closed) and dock in between the monitors. Have a wired keyboard and wireless mouse. Monitors are just over 7 lbs each.

Tricky part is cable management. My power strip is on the table so have to leave enough monitor/laptop power cable length for when lifting up. Might be easier if the power strip was on the lifting table but then you would need a power strip with a very long cord.

Hope this info helps.

I recently bought a standing desk with Flexispot and I liked it a lot. I think they offer a very good value while not compromising on quality. This seems like an excellent buy if you're just looking for a convertible sitting/standing desk configuration without replacing your existing desk.

I'd weigh your setup before worrying about that, 22lb max weight is hard to stay under when you're talking about two monitors and a stand.

That being said, I definitely wouldn't bet on this being a safe stand to mount floating monitors on. At least, I wouldn't feel comfortable with it.
