Note: Although the motherboard is having a PCIe 4.0 Slot, with the current 5700G processor, it will work in PCIe 3.0 speed as any Ryzen APUs don't support PCIe 4.0. For that, you need to upgrade the CPU to a Zen 2 or Zen 3 based Desktop Processors without integrated Graphics like a Ryzen 7 3700X or Ryzen 5 5600X.
But yeah it is painful to still see 2060 when it should have been 3060s on a deal like. But the 2060super performs within 5-10% of the 3060.
Airflow and heat are the reasons to pass if temps go over 80C during games. I got it for office use, and to use the gpu in a better case.
Wondering if it is possible to drill a few more holes in the front cage inside area to get more air flow without damaging the aesthetics and wiring...but probably easier to get a new case.

Better than seeing the trash can 1650s at this price, but seeing a formerly $400 card going for $1,000 two years later is painful.

It is painful. But with the current market, it's a good deal. The 2060 is going for over 700 right now so 1000 for the whole thing isn't bad. This card will be fine for most people except the pc elitists. Sure there are better cards, but you'll be paying much more.

If people stop jumping on any crappy deal retailers will discount more. But given most of SD lately are shill ads the real deals are far and few between. FYJ my kid is running 2070 in this exact case and heat and noise does not seem to be a problem.
Good one!
