Sorry for the newbie question but this machine only supports 1 m2 pcie nvm hard drive correct? Is that a normal limitation on modern motherboards?
It is normal for these prebuilt machines, but not normal for most gaming motherboards. One could buy a M.2 Type E to M adapter. This allows the WiF M.2 to accept a SSD. A couple things to note, some BIOS will not accept a SSD on the WiFI M.2. This is only a PCIe x1, so only SSD M.2 type M will work.

Have one can confirm plus it uses an interest board standard. Look up GamerzNexus on dell GPU in prebuilts.
