187 of the 299 pieces are bandaids, 18 of the items are ibuprofen/tylenol/non-aspirin

A decent deal if you do not have the majority of this stuff already but the average person will never require the majority of this but this kit is also extremely basic
I last purchased a pair from the 2016 slickdeal and they were actually slightly more, closer to $11. Each one paid for itself.

These also work very well as a take and toss item. We throw them in the beach bag, Disney bag, take them on road trips, camp
outs and even to our neighbors NY field party.
The whole kit is cheaper than one tube of Neosporin and a box of bandaides from a roadside pharmacy and way cheaper than a convenience store.
These are great to burn some FSA money

For my money, I prefer a brand that I know. Product quality of the J&J 140pc 1st Aid kit is preferable at $13.49 @ Target. Was frequently $12 @ Walmart, but is out of stock.

FYI: Made in China. Personally, I still prefer my medical supply made in the USA.

I needed to trach someone who was pinned in a car with a severed artery, 3rd degree burned foot and punctured lung and all I had was this $10 kit. 1 out of 5 stars. /s

Buying a couple for my self destructive wife and kids.

This kit would work. Use your fingers to pinch the artery. Take largest gauze pack. Take the gauze out. Throw out gauze. Use the wrapper and smear all the packs of ointment on one side. Stick on sucking chest wound.
Use gauze to wrap burn.

What things would you add to this kit to make it more complete?

Spend the extra and buy a separate safety kit with everything included.

Honestly I don't, as I just keep a flat utility box in my car as my first aid kit. I couldn't find a kit that had everythunt I wanted, so I made it myself. I stocked it up over a period of a few months and to stock it, I've just checked what other medpacks have inside and copied their ideas lol.

But I've just got 2 flashlights, emergency markers, emergency triangle, band-aids of all sizes, alcohol wipes (swap em every few months cause they dry out), gauze, neosporin, burn cream, extra bottles of water, a blanket, and a medium fire extinguisher. I don't drive too often, so you might require more/less/different items depending on your situation (like chains if you're in a snowy area).

Thanks for wasting my time. I just got the email alerting me to this "deal." On immediately trying for the deal, I got the message "sorry, deal has expired." Someone wasted my time-an email that shouldn't have been sent or a deal that wasn't. So guess what happens on the next Slickdeal email I get?

Got this in 2017 for $11 and it was worth every penny. In for two, thanks OP.
