So I made another account and managed to score the deal again with the 2nd agent. The first one didn't care much to hear me out and gave me the I'll redirect your comments to the manager and thanked me for being a customer.

Anyways. I got halo and kof xv 40% off! Add that with forza horizon 5. I got my Xmas wishlist for $117!

After 1 full week of battling customers representatives and opening a second account. I got the offer ordered thru the phone. I explained that customer representatives didn't want to honor this offer for me and I had talked one representative yesterday that mislead multiple times claiming the offer was an "error" and when he finally decided to honor the offer, he disconnected from the chat cause It took me 5 seconds to respond.

J on the phone couldn't get a supervisor to answer a phone and he got tired of waiting with me. He honored the discount after I placed the order.

This one was a real crap shoot. Only some random people got it. I used the online help chat feature to ask if it could be applied. First rep said "it will be on your account in 1 day, check back tomorrow." Next day: nothing. Second rep: "yeah we'll apply it. I'm making a note on your account. Contact us again whenever you're ready to checkout and I'll manually apply it. Here's your reference number."

I finish my shopping, sign back in, next 5 reps say "I can only apply 10%, sorry." 6th rep says "sure I'll apply 40% off entire order! no problem!" Crazy inconsistency, though persistence (despite massive frustration) helped.

The argument that your time is worth what your employer pays is always weird to me. Your employer pays you to complete tasks and the rate that they pay is what you completing those tasks is worth to them. Once you are off the clock or on your own personal time, your time is just your time, in addition to the money at your job. You're not going to get 60/hr of value doing much of anything outside of work, even though a lot of activities could be considered work, like taking out the trash, washing dishes or grocery shopping. Also, some people, like myself, were able to pursue this offer while on the clock and still complete the tasks expected by our employers. So not only did I save money by dealing with the chat reps, but I was paid by my employer to do so, because I chose to use company time. Typing this was worth my time. On to the next deal.
